Key Responsibilities

Assist with end-of-month journals and reporting requirements ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Support the preparation of monthly management reporting packs including variance and cost analysis.
Produce and maintain daily cost reporting covering parts labour and other key operational cost drivers.
Assist the Regional Business Partner with weekly monthly half-year and annual forecasts and budgets.
Support regular overhead reviews cost control initiatives and identification of cost saving opportunities.
Assist with preparation and review of financial and management accounting data relating to business unit performance.
Prepare review and own regional balance sheet reconciliations ensuring accuracy completeness and timely resolution of reconciling items.
Provide analytical support to operational leaders to improve commercial decision-making.
Provide local assistance with ERP implementation and rollout including testing training support and data validation.
Support continuous improvement in financial reporting data quality and business processes.
Work collaboratively with other finance and operational stakeholders to support performance outcomes for the business.

You Will Have:

Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting.
Progression toward membership of professional body; CPA CA or equivalent
1-3 years experience in an accounting or financial role preferably within mining or mining services Junior candidates encouraged to apply
Strong analytical and numerical capability with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and previous exposure to Power BI reporting.
Experience working with ERP systems is required.
Ability to interpret financial and operational data and present findings clearly.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships.
Demonstrated willingness and capability to learn new systems and processes.
Proven ability to work autonomously and as part as a team
