The Sales and Catering Coordinator provides the director and managers of sales and marketing with administrative and clerical support including word- processing typing e-mailing filing data-entry faxing copying corresponding answering telephones and performing other general office duties. Assists on special projects as needed.

What will I be doing

As a Sales and Catering Coordinator you would be providing support to the sales and catering team and acts as liaison between the customer and the hotel in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Responsible for execution of ales groups and catering events.

  • Coordinate projects and activities. Synchronize the needs of the group / event with the hotel staff to ensure smooth operations.

  • Attends weekly sales departmental meeting and other scheduled meetings to support business operations such as group pick up meeting weekly operations meeting and weekly sales meeting.

  • Assist with site inspections/tours as needed.

  • Data entry using Delphi Micosoft Word and Excel. Data entry using Delphi Micosoft Word and Excel. Data entry using Delphi Micosoft Word and Excel. Data entry using Delphi Micosoft Word and Excel. Assists with administrative work and data entry in the office.

  • Keeps work area clean and organized.

  • Maintains a good working relationship with other departments employees and guests.

  • Assists with special projects and/or performs other tasks assigned by management.

Please note: This position is full-time and shifts will be during the PM Shifts.

The hourly rate range is $28 - $30 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
