About the Role
Bakers Delight Yarraville is seeking a skilled and motivated Baker to join our busy bakery team. This is a full-time position suited to someone who is passionate about baking quality products and working in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Baker to join our production team. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide range of bread and bakery products in accordance with Bakers Delight standards and food safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare mix knead and bake a variety of bread and bakery products
Operate ovens mixers and baking equipment safely and efficiently
Follow production schedules to meet daily output requirements
Ensure consistent quality presentation and taste of products
Maintain high standards of food safety cleanliness and hygiene
Monitor stock levels and assist with ingredient preparation
Work collaboratively with the team to meet business demands
Requirements
Relevant qualification in Baking or Patisserie (Certificate III or higher preferred)
Minimum 2 years experience in a commercial bakery environment
Strong knowledge of dough preparation and baking processes
Ability to work early mornings weekends and public holidays as required
Good time management and attention to detail
Reliable punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team

Required Skills:
AQF Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification OR minimum 35 years relevant commercial baking experience At least 2 years post-qualification or equivalent industry experience Proven experience in artisan and commercial bread production Strong understanding of dough fermentation baking processes and quality control Ability to work early mornings weekends and under pressure Reliable punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.
