Job Summary
Hospitality Spotlight is looking for a Sales and Marketing Director for a luxury hotel in Austin TX
The Work:
- Lead by example at all levels of execution
- Manage sales and marketing team while also selling.
- Create a local regional and national sales plan to include all markets.
- Relationship building with established business clientele while focusing on the goal of obtaining new business.
- Attend industry trade shows and become involved with the local community to benefit the hotel
- Prepare and maintain Sales and Marketing budget
- Additional responsibilities are required
What youve already done (requirements):
- Full-service Independent boutique and brand hotel experience required
- 4 years of experience as Director of Sales & Marketing with a luxury full-service hotel
- Thinks critically and objectively; has excellent problem solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions based on business demands
- Has a passion for hospitality demonstrated by a progressive hotel career
- Developed interpersonal adaptive influencing and supervisory management skills
- Researched solicited and sold to new local regional and national groups
- Technology and social media savvy
- Involvement with the local community and attended industry trade shows
- Team player with the ability to multitask
- Excellence in business ethics and integrity
- B.A. Degree preferred
