Hours: 8:30am 4:30pm Monday to Friday

CrewSELECT are working with a well-established business specialising in containerised water treatment units supporting humanitarian and social enterprise projects internationally. Due to continued growth and holiday coverage we are seeking a Mechanical Trade Assistant / Pipe Fitter to join their workshop team.

About the Role

This position is workshop-based and suited to someone who enjoys a steady pace structured work and consistent hours.

Your main focus will be pipe fitting and mechanical assembly working from engineering drawings to build containerised water treatment units.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings

• Pipe fitting and mechanical assembly

• Packing and unpacking stock

• Loading and unloading trucks

• General workshop support as required

What Were Looking For

• Previous pipe fitting or mechanical assembly experience

• Forklift Licence highly regarded

• Mechanical Fitter or Pipe Fitter trade not essential

• Reliable hands-on and comfortable in a workshop environment

Whats on Offer

• $32/hr penalties for a skilled Trade Assistant (ideal for WHV candidates with pipe fitting experience)

• $55/hr penalties considered for a qualified Mechanical Fitter seeking a slower-paced role

• Monday to Friday only no overtime
