We are looking for a Supply Coordinator to join our Marine Products division in Cape Town.
The Role & Responsibilities
To ensure that orders from our customers are handled correctly in a timely fashion and that customer demands are met and communicated in an efficient and professional manner.
Ensure there is continuous communication on the availability and lead times of products with Customer Service transporters warehouse expediting and procurement department.
Continuous follow up on quotes and orders with sub-status Awaiting approval.
Process orders including non-available items:
Order non-available items.
Maintain ETA dates for incoming Purchase Orders
Receive Purchase Orders supporting an order.
Process shipments:
Add relevant charges if applicable.
Print pick lists for warehouse if required.
Report picking if required.
Scan Delivery Notes when applicable.
Create invoice for closed orders
Process involvement:
Confirming ability to deliver
Plan inventory
Purchase inventory
Quote order
Deliver products.
Supply Customer Service with necessary information concerning delivery status of orders i.e. charges delays availability.
Provide complete and updated information to warehouse concerning time and place of delivery.
Prepare cost pricing information towards final invoicing of service performed.
Maintain required control reports and documentation.
Assist other departments as needed on stock orders and purchase orders.
Any other responsibility put forward by Manager not covered by this FD (within reasonable limits)
You will be Accountable for responsiveness timely & correct delivery in line with set standards.
Key KPIs for this position will be measured against Responsiveness in line with standards On time delivery Communication with other functions.
Mandatory requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Prior experience as Supply Coordinator or similar position in a warehouse
Very good command of the English language (spoken and written)
Good computer skills with Excel knowledge
Ability to travel when required. Maintain a valid passport.
Ability to communicate effectively within a multinational environment.
Ability to work under pressure and ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Ability to co-operate across organization lines internally and towards customers.
Systematic and accurate nature
The position reports to the Operations Manager South Africa & Namibia. This role works closely with Operations Supervisor Warehouse Supervisor Customer Services and Customs Specialist.
