Now Hiring: Manufacturing Engineer Capital Projects & Machining
We are seeking a highly skilledManufacturing Engineerto support and advance our manufacturing and industrial engineering operations. This role plays a critical part in driving production efficiency implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and leading capital equipment and tooling projects.
The ideal candidate brings strong machining expertise hands-on engineering leadership and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What Youll Do
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will:
- Lead engineering projects to maximize production output through optimized machine utilization tooling methods and time standards
- Evaluate and implement advanced manufacturing technologies automation and mechanization solutions
- Drive capital equipment and tooling projects from concept through installation and production launch
- Conduct process reviews equipment layout analysis risk assessments and material flow optimization
- Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects
- Prepare technical reports cost justifications and project proposals
- Coordinate tooling evaluations testing and vendor partnerships
- Work closely with CNC programmers machinists and operations teams to improve machining performance
- Stay current with emerging manufacturing technologies and industry best practices
What Were Looking For
- Strong project management experience especially with capital equipment and facility improvement projects
- Hands-on manufacturing engineering background in a machining environment (horizontal boring experience preferred)
- Deep understanding of machining principles tooling fixturing and manufacturing mathematics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office AutoCAD (or similar) and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively across engineering operations and leadership teams
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent); advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
- PE license preferred
