Job Summary

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Payments Technology Group you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide accurate testing estimates during daily scrum calls.
- Document and execute test scenarios by identifying specific scenarios and writing test scripts using Business Driven Development.
- Utilize test automation tools (Selenium/Cucumber) for efficient and timely end-to-end test execution requiring previous experience in automated testing.
- Partner closely with Operations Product and Technology groups.
- Identify opportunities to accelerate and synergize testing processes for assigned projects and share information with team members for validation before implementation.
- Monitor and report testing defects and manage the re-testing process.
- Validate and present test results for internal sign-off.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3 years applied experience
- 3 years of experience with Manual/Automation testing
- Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
- Experience in Agile project delivery
- Experience defining requirements document user stories and execute test scripts with a strong understanding of testing processes.
- Experience managing multiple projects and personnel to meet stakeholder expectations while building and nurturing relationships across business lines and locations.
- Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques
- Experience with processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting
- Bachelors degree in a technology related field
- Experience with functional and regression testing within the Financial Services industry.
- Working understanding of public cloud
