Position Summary
A leading casino and hospitality organization is seeking a highly accomplished Network Architect to serve as the technical authority for enterprise network design modernization and strategic direction. This role is reserved for a top-tier network expert with deep experience designing and scaling high-availability low-latency networks in complex regulated environments.
The Network Architect will own end-to-end network architecture including core data center WAN SD-WAN cloud connectivity and security integration supporting mission-critical casino hospitality and corporate systems that operate 24/7.
This is a hands-on architecture role not a people manager with direct influence over standards design decisions vendor strategy and long-term roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Network Architecture & Design
- Act as the primary architect for enterprise-wide network design across data centers campuses casinos hotels and remote properties.
- Design highly resilient scalable and secure network architectures supporting gaming hospitality corporate and operational systems.
- Own network standards reference architectures and design documentation.
Routing WAN & SD-WAN
- Design and optimize BGP-based routing architectures for multi-site multi-provider environments.
- Architect and evolve SD-WAN solutions to support performance resiliency traffic segmentation and cost optimization.
- Ensure seamless failover redundancy and traffic engineering across WAN links.
Switching & Data Center Networking
- Architect Arista-based switching environments including spine/leaf and high-throughput core designs.
- Support low-latency high-availability data center networking for critical applications and services.
- Define standards for VLANs VRFs QoS multicast and network segmentation.
Network Security Architecture
- Design and integrate Palo Alto firewall architectures including HA segmentation and security policy design.
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to align network architecture with enterprise security compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure secure connectivity across on-prem cloud and third-party integrations.
Strategy Roadmap & Vendor Leadership
- Lead network modernization initiatives including technology refreshes and architectural improvements.
- Evaluate vendors platforms and emerging technologies; make recommendations at an executive level.
- Serve as a senior technical advisor to IT leadership infrastructure teams and project stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise networking with significant architecture-level ownership
- Proven expertise in:
- Network Design & Architecture
- BGP (enterprise & ISP-facing)
- SD-WAN architectures
- Arista switches (core distribution data center)
- Palo Alto firewalls (enterprise-grade deployments)
- Experience designing networks for high-availability 24/7 environments
- Strong understanding of:
- Routing & switching protocols
- Network segmentation & security design
- Redundancy failover and disaster recovery
- Ability to translate business and operational requirements into scalable technical designs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in casino gaming hospitality or other highly regulated enterprise environments
- Exposure to:
- Multi-property or geographically distributed enterprises
- Data center modernization or large-scale network refresh projects
- Cloud connectivity (Azure / AWS hybrid networking)
- Relevant certifications (preferred not required):
- CCNP / CCIE
- Palo Alto (PCNSE)
- Arista or SD-WAN certifications
