Would you be a great Physical Therapist
To thrive as a Physical Therapist (PT) at Southwest Health System Inc. a range of essential skills and qualifications are necessary for success.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
Requirements:
- Preferred Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Current Physical Therapy license (or eligibility) in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient or hospital-based experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations encouraged to apply.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Language Skills:
- Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Skills:
- Strong communication organizational and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of physical medicine physical therapy modalities anatomy and physiology.
- Knowledge of physical therapy machine operation.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
