Job Description:

Department Overview:

Model Risk Management (MRM) group is responsible for establishing and implementing enterprise model governance risk and control strategies and policies. We oversee and ensure compliance with MRM requirements ensuring that the bank has an effective risk management program within its risk appetite. Job Description:

Can you provide support on risk analysis reporting monitoring and business partner requests If so then apply for the position ofGroup Risk Analyst I. In this role you will act as a specialist in providing advice oversight and commentary on risk related addition you will:

  • Manage and perform data analysis of the model inventorys key fields to ensure that the information in the model inventory is complete and accurate
  • Identify and resolve data gaps within the model inventory working with business partners across the enterprise
  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence information and all matters of confidentiality; raise issues where appropriate
  • Analyze potential risks and ensure risks are aggregated / escalated to appropriate areas
  • Be knowledgeable of practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and stay ahead of emerging trends
  • Participate fully as a member of the team support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business quality innovation and collaboration and ensure timely communication of issues
  • Support the team by continuously enhancing knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit
  • Participate in personal performance management and development activities including cross training within own team
  • Keep others informed and up-to-date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities
  • Act as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank both internally and/or externally

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate and/or over 1 year of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Financial Industry/Risk Management
  • A good listener and great thinker with strong communication skills
  • A high-energy individual who can exercise initiatives with minimal discretion and be thorough accurate and detail oriented to handle several tasks and changing priorities
  • Experience working in a dynamic high-pressure environment through strong administration organizational planning and time management skills
  • Relational database SQL skills for data mining extraction and statistical analysis would be an asset
