Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will analyze General Ledger activity perform account analysis prepare financial statements and maintain capital expenditures.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare General Ledger journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned.
Review journal entries and reconciliations prepared by others.
Coordinate posting of journal entries to the General Ledger.
Prepare analyze audit and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Assist District Managers by helping them analyze financial statements and support the forecasting and budgeting process.
Assist in creating key performance indicators for the business analyze them and communicate results to management.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.

Knowledge Skills Abilities and Competencies:

Four-year degree in Accounting.
57 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices.
High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong project management skills.

Physical/Mental Demands:

Able to stand sit walk use hands and fingers reach talk and hear.
Visual requirements include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:

Work in an indoor office environment 95% of the time.
Noise level is usually moderate.
