The Human Factors R&D Co-Op will:
Assist in user research activities to gather data on user needs behaviors and limitations.
Support task analysis use specification and risk assessments to identify use-related hazards.
Participate in formative evaluations and usability studies at various stages of product development.
Help prepare human factors documentation (plans protocols reports) in compliance with FDA and IEC 62366 guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D Quality Regulatory Clinical) to incorporate human factors into design controls.
Contribute to design recommendations by applying ergonomic and usability principles to hardware and software interfaces.
Assist in analyzing study data and summarizing findings to inform design decisions.
Use MATLAB or similar data analysis software to clean up and document physiological studies e.g. EMG evaluations
Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g. H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$31.00/hr to $59.00/hrAdditional Description for Pay Transparency:
The expected pay range for this position is between $31.00 per hour and $59.00 per hour but will be based on candidates program year discipline degree and/or -Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the -Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington up to 56 hours per calendar -Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension).
