Ingersolls US operations are housed on our state-of-the-art manufacturing and marketing campus in Rockford Illinois. We are currently accepting applications for a Manufacturing Engineer. The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and improve manufacturing processes using traditional and non-traditional company methodologies based on product and factory requirements. A degreed engineer with a manufacturing mindset that can identify and develop complex projects from start to finish would be an excellent fit! Essential job duties and Responsibilities include: - Design tooling and fixtures using CAD
- Utilize a strong understanding of CNC machining grinding and finishing processes
- Prepare and process information by collecting analyzing and summarizing data trends.
- Recognize process weaknesses and present improvement plans
- Develop new manufacturing techniques and conduct training with production employees
- Research and implement new equipment and technologies related to manufacturing
- A mix of office work and working out on the production floor
- Communicating technical information in an effective way to a variety of audiences
Skills/Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline such as mechanical manufacturing or industrial engineering or technology highly preferred
- 1 years of experience working in a manufacturing engineering role preferred
- 1 years of experience working in a CNC machine shop environment highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical information effectively
- Understanding and experience with CAD and CAM software (Creo Parametric preferred)
- Experience with automation technologies preferred
- Understanding of additive manufacturing technologies preferred
This is an on-site full-time position that may require intermittent overtime based on workflow demands. The salary range for this position is $70-80K.
