Job Summary

Job Title: HR Systems Analyst (Workday Integration & Testing)

Duration: 6 Months (Contract)

Location: 100% Remote

Focus: Payroll Benefits and Integration Failure Analysis

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical HR Systems Analyst to support a critical HR integration project. This role focuses on the end-to-end testing and validation of Workday integrations with a heavy emphasis on Payroll and Benefits. You will be responsible for not just executing scripts but actively identifying failure scenarios troubleshooting complex data discrepancies and managing business interactions to ensure a seamless go-live.

Key Responsibilities:

         End-to-End Testing: Execute comprehensive integration test scripts specifically targeting benefits administration 401k arrears and retroactive file processing.

         Failure Scenario Analysis: Proactively identify potential system breaking points. Test failure scenarios analyze root causes of errors and implement required adjustments to integration logic or data mapping.

         Data Staging & Validation: Update and stage complex data records within Workday to simulate real-world testing environments. Validate data flow accuracy between Workday and external vendor systems.

         Technical Troubleshooting: Run and monitor inbound/outbound integrations; interpret vendor file specifications to resolve transmission or formatting errors.

         Reporting & Analytics: Develop advanced workbooks in Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs Pivot Tables complex formulas) to perform data reconciliation and audit test results.

         Stakeholder Management: Act as a bridge between HR IT and external implementation partners. Clearly communicate technical issues to non-technical business owners.


Qualifications :

Required Qualifications:

         Workday Expertise: Proven experience with Workday data management and integration testing (EIB Core Connectors or Document Transformation).

         Payroll & Benefits Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR functional areas including compensation benefits structures and payroll processing cycles.

         Advanced Data Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Google Sheets for high-volume data validation and analysis.

         Systems Administration: Experience in system admin tasks including documenting test cases and maintaining audit trails of system changes.

         Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills with the ability to manage business interactions and present findings to project leadership.

Preferred Skills:

         Experience with Regression Testing and integration error-handling techniques.

         Prior experience in a consulting or high-growth environment undergoing an HRIS implementation.

         Familiarity with interpreting complex vendor file specifications.
