Job Summary
- Work alongside a highly motivated team of software engineers and academics to help build products that make complex topics like investing more accessible to our users
- Contribute to the design and implementation of user interfaces and features on iOS
- Learn to take ownership of parts of the app and gradually grow responsibility across the full development lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with engineers product managers and designers to deliver high-quality user experiences
- Experiment with iOS technologies and best practices supported by experienced team members
- Write clean testable and well-documented code with a strong focus on quality and security
- Continuously improve your technical skills and stay curious about developments in the iOS ecosystem
Qualifications :
- A University degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science engineering natural sciences etc.) or a comparable qualification
- Hands-on experience in iOS development including initial experience in a professional setting (such as internships or working student roles) in addition to academic or personal projects.)
- Familiarity with Swift and the iOS SDK and basic experience with UIKit and Auto Layout
- Motivation to learn modern iOS development practices and deepen your understanding of the platform
- Solid analytical thinking and an interest in understanding both technical and product-related problems
- Interest in building great user experiences and learning how to implement custom UI components
- Good communication skills and an openness to ask questions give feedback and learn from others
- Fluent in English both in writing and reading German is a plus
- Ability and motivation to quickly pick up new concepts and adapt to changes in the iOS ecosystem
- Curiosity about other technology stacks and platforms beyond iOS
- Prior Fintech experience is not required but interest in investing or digital finance is a plus. Ideally you are curious about or already a customer of Scalable Capital
