About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Product Engineering Expert (PEE) to join our MB Group Product Engineering this role you will support global product approvals ensure compliance and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen the partnership between PPG and our customers.
You will play a key role in driving customer-centric innovation and ensuring alignment between product engineering strategic marketing account management and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Support global new technology and product approvals for projects aligned with the business plan and strategic marketing objectives.
Execute approval plans in coordination with Business Development Strategic Marketing and Account Management.
Manage approval activities from OEM level to nTier across the full product portfolio.
Support regional teams in obtaining approvals with local OEMs.
Provide OEM information requirements and clarification to internal teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the customers central engineering organization.
Align project specifications with customers and internal stakeholders using a One PPG approach.
Manage customer communication regarding product changes production relocations and other approvalrelated activities.
Support quality claim management and correctiveaction activities.
Contribute to problemsolving efforts related to product or technology issues.
Required Qualifications
Experience in the Automotive Chemical or technical industry preferred.
Experience working in multicultural teams.
Strong ability to build trust and longterm customer relationships.
Fluency in English and German.
Willingness to travel as needed for project support (including international air travel).
