We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical EHS Coordinator to join our team in Monterrey Mexico. As an EHS Coordinator you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization maintains the highest standards of environmental health and safety practices.
- Develop implement and maintain EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with local and international regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace
- Lead incident investigations perform root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions
- Provide EHS training to employees at all levels of the organization
- Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics preparing reports for management
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate EHS best practices into daily operations
- Manage and maintain EHS documentation including permits safety data sheets and training records
- Stay up-to-date with changes in EHS regulations and industry best practices
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and represent the company during EHS audits and inspections
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in EHS roles preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Relevant EHS certifications (e.g. OSHA ISO 14001 ISO 45001)
- In-depth knowledge of local and international EHS regulations and standards
- Proficiency in EHS management systems and software platforms
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English and Spanish
- Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments hazard identification and incident investigations
- Experience in developing and delivering EHS training programs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS-specific software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in EHS performance
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management
