Job Summary
We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality atFairmontJasper Park Lodgeasour new Laundry Attendant. As a Laundry Attendant your care and attention to detail in daily operations will help maintain the high standards of our hotel linens contributing directly to a clean comfortable and memorable guest experience.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the LaundryManager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professionalfriendlyand engaging service
- Feed linen and laundry into folding machine
- Receive linen coming out of laundry machine sort and separate
- Accurately record production data by specific items to track efficiency and inventory
- Ensure laundry machines are thoroughly cleaned and maintained at the end of each shift
- Following all safety and sanitation policies
- Consistently uphold a professional and well-groomed appearance in accordance with the companys established grooming policy
- Adhere to the hotels vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles
- Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
