IT Technician (on-site with partial remote support)

• Configure deploy and maintain company-owned laptops used within the IT environment
• Ensure endpoint encryption patching and security configurations are applied and maintained
• Administer and monitor network components including router switch and firewall services
• Maintain network segmentation and access controls protecting government information
• Support physical security controls related to IT infrastructure
• Support cloud-hosted applications used for business and CUI processing
• Manage user accounts access permissions and authentication mechanisms
• Monitor system and network logs for security-related events
• Respond to security alerts and escalate incidents as required
• Support vulnerability scanning remediation and verification activities
• Maintain documentation required for NIST SP 800-171 and quality-related compliance
• Support security awareness and insider threat training initiatives
• Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories

• Must be able to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI); active Secret-level or higher clearance preferred
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field of study OR six (6) years related IT experience.
• Windows workstation administration
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP routing switching) and firewall administration
• Endpoint security and encryption technologies
• Cloud identity and access management
• Log monitoring and basic security event analysis
• Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC requirements
• CompTIA Security and Network desired. Relevant cloud certifications a plus
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 40 pounds
