Job Summary
Heavy Diesel Mechanic Agricultural Equipment
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established operation servicing and maintaining a range of agricultural machinery and equipment. This is a permanent full-time position suited to a mechanic with hands-on experience in agricultural or mobile plant environments.
Key Responsibilities

Service diagnose and repair agricultural equipment including tractors harvesters and related machinery

Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing

Diagnose mechanical hydraulic and electrical faults

Perform engine transmission and component repairs

Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately

Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and manufacturer standards
Skills and Experience
-
Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent)
-
Proven experience working on agricultural equipment or mobile plant
-
Strong understanding of diesel engines hydraulics and mechanical systems
-
Ability to diagnose faults and work independently
-
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
-
Clear communication skills in English
Additional Requirements

Current Australian drivers licence

Ability to work in a regional or agricultural environment

Willingness to support seasonal workloads and breakdowns when required
