Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver practical and theoretical F&B training covering service standards customer engagement and beverage operations.

  • Develop and implement training modules lesson plans and assessments tailored for maritime hospitality environments.

  • Mentor trainees on front-of-house operations etiquette and professional presentation.

  • Monitor and evaluate trainee performance providing constructive feedback to ensure competency standards are met.

  • Ensure compliance with maritime hygiene safety and service protocols.

  • Collaborate with other trainers to maintain a high-quality structured training environment.

  • Foster a positive professional and motivating atmosphere to inspire trainees.

  • Serve as a role model for professionalism customer service excellence and work ethic in the maritime hospitality industry.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Food & Beverage service preferably in a hospitality or cruise ship environment.

  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in hospitality F&B service or related fields.

  • Certified South African ID and based in Cape Town.

  • Strong communication mentorship and leadership skills.

  • Ability to deliver structured training in a classroom and practical environment.

  • Passion for teaching guiding and developing the next generation of maritime hospitality professionals.

  • Knowledge of maritime hospitality standards is an advantage.
