Electrical Design Engineer

The Electrical Design Engineer will support the development of advanced electrical systems and components for highperformance vehicle programs. This is a handson collaborative role involving design work prototyping assembly trials supplier coordination and crossfunctional teamwork. Responsibilities include designing electrical components and subsystems creating 3D/2D models and developing wire harnesses and highvoltage components.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical components subsystems wire harnesses and highvoltage systems
Perform 3D/2D modeling and engineering calculations to meet performance cost and manufacturability targets
Support prototype builds assembly trials and manufacturing activities
Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering teams throughout the development cycle
Maintain BOMs drawings and engineering documentation; support DFM reviews
Troubleshoot design and build issues provide timely updates and meet project deadlines
Participate in crossfunctional meetings and contribute to technical problemsolving

Details:

Requirements

35 years of electrical design engineering experience (automotive motorsports or aerospace preferred)
Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6 or 3D Experience
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Handson experience with highvoltage systems wire harness design and core engineering fundamentals
Ability to interpret engineering drawings create BOMs and perform tolerance stackups
Strong communication analytical and problemsolving skills
Willingness to travel for vendor visits testing or track support
