Position Details:
- Receive instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
- Organize and maintain organization of parts to specific BOMs.
- Secure materials such as fasteners lifting straps oil hose clamps spray paint etc. to facilitate the building of equipment.
- Collect necessary parts to assemble components.
- Sort and place parts in appropriate location.
- Carry needed tools or supplies from storage and return them after use.
- Distribute tools and other items for use and return them to the appropriate locations according to plans. Maintain neat and orderly hose area.
- Gathering parts from parts room and/or Fabrication if needed.
- Move scrap materials to appropriate recycling location and/or trash receptacles.
- Measure create and apply labels to necessary hoses/wire harnesses that do not already have labels
- Signal Team Members to facilitate alignment movement or adjustment of machinery equipment or materials.
- Other duties as needed to meet Production requirements.
Qualifications/Experience:
- No minimum education required.
- At least 6 months as a Laborer in a Manufacturing (or similar) environment.
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools for plumbing electrical and carpentry materials/techniques required
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing lifting walking stooping and handling of materials.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds throughout the day.
Supervisory Responsibility - this position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment - this job operates in a shop environment where tools and other machinery is used.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work - this is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Tuesday through Friday 4:00PM. to 2:30 A.M.
Travel - None.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications - must pass a background check and drug screen
