Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical/dental practitioners for three part-time Staff Specialists in Interventional Cardiology Medicine positions in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. The position will be primarily located at Nepean Hospital within the Department of Cardiology.
Successful applicants will play a vital role in ensuring safe timely and high-quality care for patients requiring complex cardiac procedures while also providing leadership supervision and education to junior doctors and clinical staff. The role ensures continuity of specialist services at Nepean Hospital and supports a culture of collaboration and clinical excellence.
The number of sessions will be on the Cardiology 24-hour on-call roster which includes a general take 1 in 12 and an Interventional call 1 in 7. Appointees may be eligible for credentialing and privileging across all other facilities in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.
Part-time positions will be considered.
