The EYFS Teaching Assistant will support Nursery and Reception pupils aged 35. You will assist teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences while providing targeted support for children with additional needs.
You will play a key role in supporting children with SEN EAL or behavioural and social-emotional challenges helping them engage with activities develop confidence and achieve their learning goals.
Assist with delivery of EYFS curriculum through structured and play-based learning
Support phonics early literacy numeracy and creative development
Provide one-to-one or small group support for children with SEN or additional needs
Encourage positive behaviour social skills and independence
Support daily classroom routines transitions snack time and outdoor learning
Observe assess and record childrens progress in line with EYFS framework
Collaborate with teachers SENCO external specialists and parents
Maintain safeguarding health and safety procedures
Support childrens emotional wellbeing and social development
The school is looking for a compassionate patient and reliable EYFS Teaching Assistant with:
Experience in EYFS or early years settings
Understanding of child development and EYFS curriculum
Experience or strong interest in supporting SEN and inclusive education
