Job Summary
Aerotech Aviation (part of the APAS Group)
Aerotech Aviation Pty Ltd (Aerotech) part of the APAS Group of Companies was founded in 2010 to provide dedicated commercial aircraft storage and part-out services to the international aviation industry. Whilst these services have historically been provided in the United States the APAS Group now services major Asia-Pacific based airlines and international aircraft lessor customers.
Our successful candidates will join a tight-knit team focused on delivering excellence in maintenance standards and providing exceptional customer support.
Position Description
Successful candidates will be involved with assisting our field staff and the day to day running of the aircraft maintenance facility.
Maintenance activities include:
- Refuelling cars ground power units ATVs
- Supporting operations manager in the day to day activity
- Supporting Aircraft engineering team to ensure Ground Services are functioning.
- Running errands to and from Alice Springs CBD
Location
Successful candidates will be based at the APAS Facility Alice Springs Airport Alice Springs Northern Territory.
Requirements
Candidate Requirement
A demonstrated interest in site operations logistics and/or aviation operations.
Demonstrated experience adhering to a high level safety and security culture work environment.
Strong proficiency hand tools.
High attention to detail and accuracy with proven workplace attendance.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a genuine people person.
Hold an open unrestricted car drivers licence and personal transport to/from Alice Springs Airport.
Physically fit and willing to move around the site daily.
Satisfy the requirements of obtaining Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC) including pre-employment DAMP testing.
Satisfy the requirements of obtaining Airside Drivers Licence (ADA) up to Category 2 level.
Desirable:
1-3 years aviation experience.
Understanding of WHS principles / NT Worksafe requirements (or willingness to complete training).
Familiarity with site-based or compliance-heavy operational environments.

Mon to Fri(summer)
Remuneration
From $70000 per annum 12% Superannuation overtime commensurate to experience.
