Job Description
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients under the close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). The RBT is responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans collecting accurate data and supporting skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals in accordance with ethical and professional standards.
Core Responsibilities
Direct Client Services (In-Person)
Implement behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs as designed by the supervising BCBA/LBA
Provide 1:1 direct therapy in home clinic school or community settings as assigned
Collect accurate and timely data on client behavior and skill performance
Use evidence-based ABA strategies (e.g. reinforcement prompting shaping)
Maintain a safe respectful and supportive therapeutic environment
Support & Collaboration
Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA/LBA regarding client progress and concerns
Participate in scheduled supervision meetings and performance feedback sessions
Collaborate professionally with caregivers teachers and team members as appropriate
Follow all treatment protocols data collection procedures and agency policies
Documentation & Administrative Duties
Complete session notes and data entry accurately and on time
Report incidents concerns or changes in client behavior promptly
Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all time
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree preferred)
Ability to implement behavior plans as written
Ability to collect accurate behavioral data
Reliable transportation to client locations

Ability to follow detailed treatment protocols
Patience professionalism and ethical conduct
Ability to work with children and/or adults with developmental and behavioral needs
Physical ability to engage in active sessions (sitting standing lifting as needed)

Required Skills:
Job Requirements Required Qualifications Active BCBA certification and/or LBA license in good standing Masters degree in ABA Psychology Education or a related field Ability to develop and oversee ABA treatment programs Strong clinical judgment data analysis and communication skills Experience Level Recently certified BCBAs and newly licensed LBAs are encouraged to apply Prior experience supervising RBTs is preferred but not required Clinical support and guidance may be available for early-career clinicians Language Skills Bilingual English/Spanish preferred All qualified applicants are welcome to apply regardless of language proficiency Technical & Professional Skills Familiarity with electronic data collection and documentation systems Ability to provide services via telehealth platforms Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently in a part-time hybrid role
