Processing Team Member
Nueskes Applewood Smoked Meats Inc. is widely known and honored by culinary experts and chefs for the superb quality and rich smoky flavor of our Applewood smoked bacon ham poultry sausage and other premium quality specialty meats. We are also known as one of the premier employers in the Central Wisconsin.
The Processing Team Member prepares meat for smoking and packaging. As a meat processor your duties may include trimming brining grinding hanging mixing stuffing and processing meat. You are also responsible for adhering to quality standards and data control for each product.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Set up meat for hang lines.
- Stuff net hang cured meat and poultry products.
- Operate pallet jack.
- Operate vacuum tumbler (incl. filling and formulating).
- Operate floor scales.
- Operate bench scales.
- Record informational data on control cards scanners/ computers and forms.
- Ability to set up and operate equipment efficiently and with minimal defects. Able to adjust the machine and trouble shoot when necessary.
- Learns and follows all product specifications.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior related experience and/or training
