Based in Seregno Italy you will play a key role in driving and optimizing upgrade projects for our customers across this position you will collaborate with sales teams and the Upgrade Manager to define execution strategies support customer engagement and ensure successful delivery of complex system upgrades. Your expertise will help shape innovative solutions mentor other engineers and continuously improve processes to deliver exceptional results.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Apply deep expertise in DeltaV and Ovation upgrades Windows OS virtualization and infrastructure network architectures to support complex upgrade projects.
- Build strong relationships with Italian Services teams establishing yourself as the countrys Upgrade Technical Expert.
- Own upgrade activities leveraging resources and methodologies to reduce costs while meeting schedules and quality standards.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers providing expert guidance and innovative cost-effective upgrade solutions.
- Support sales by engaging customers understanding their needs and contributing to scope definition FEED studies and project estimates.
- Stay informed on market trends and Emersons strategic direction aligning upgrade capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
- Lead train and mentor other engineers fostering continuous improvement and collaboration.

You build strong partnerships and communicate effectively across diverse teams ensuring alignment and shared goals. You use customer insights to shape solutions and persist in achieving objectives despite challenges.
For This Role You Will Need:
- Technical expertise equivalent to an Engineering degree or comparable experience.
- Proven experience in Project or Lifecycle Services within a complex process industry.
- Expertise in DCS systems upgrades and direct customer interaction.
- Strong leadership in improvement initiatives and ability to work independently.
- Fluency in English and Italian with flexibility to travel up to 40% across Italy.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- SMO (Service Management Office) DeltaV Upgrade Expert certification.
- Knowledge of DCS DeltaV or Ovation systems.
- Progress toward SMO DeltaV Virtualization Professional and Upgrade Associate certifications.
- Experience working in an international matrix organization.
