Job Summary
Position Description:
Position: Senior Test Engineer
Experience:7 years of experience
Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Masters of Engineering in Computer Science
Experienced Senior Test Engineer specializing in automation and manual testing using Cypress and TypeScript. Strong expertise in designing and executing end-to-end regression and API tests to ensure high-quality web applications. Proficient in REST API validation test scripting defect analysis and ensuring reliable scalable test automation in agile environments
Must-Have Skills:
. Define and execute test strategies plans and approaches for web applications
. Analyze requirements and user stories to ensure complete test coverage
. Design develop and maintain Cypress automation frameworks using TypeScript
. Create and execute end-to-end regression and integration test suites
. Perform manual testing (functional regression exploratory UAT)
. Ensure automation reliability reduce flaky tests and improve execution stability
. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines
. Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing
. Execute and validate API tests
. Identify log track and verify defects in defect management tools
. Collaborate with developers product owners and stakeholders to ensure quality
. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
. Mentor junior testers and perform automation code reviews
. Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and best practices
. Ensure release quality and sign-off readiness
