• Experienced sessional kindergarten teacher needed for large and complex group
• Sessions Tue & Thu
• 24.75 hours per week
• Roster Thu & Thu 8.00 am to 4.15 pm with 8.25 hours planning on another day

• Paid time off over term breaks 10 weeks per year
• Start Date: as soon as possible preferably February 2026
• We will NOT be considering provisionally registered teachers

Laa Yulta Primary School Kindergarten is a modern vibrant Centre offering inclusive high-quality play-based programs for three- and four-year-old -located with Laa Yulta Primary School and the Community Garden with strong connections across the culturally diverse local community.

  VECTEA Terms & Conditions

  • VECTEA salary rates for teachers with 3 to 5 years of experience is currently $43 to $47 per hour with increases and back pay expected before the end of 2026.
  • Teachers with 5 years of experience are supported to complete the Capability Assessessment and move to Level 3 status with rates starting at $50.59 per hour
  • Generous personal leave and 10 weeks paid leave over the term breaks
