The Opportunity

We have a new exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical) for NPI Projects to join our team following the award of a new 10-year contract with a leading Oil & Gas this role you will lead the safe compliant and efficient delivery of engineering and construction projects combining technical excellence commercial acumen and strong stakeholder engagement. You will be accountable for ensuring all works are executed in line with defined scope schedule cost and quality requirements. Some site travel will be required to execute the works.

What we are looking for

Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering/Construction or similar are Essential
Formal qualifications in project management or equivalent experience are desirable
Minimum 5 years experience within the industry particularly within industrial sector
Exposure and experience with project planning execution and delivery
Sound experience within client engagement strategies
Very good interpersonal skills
Strong industry process and operations skills and knowledge.
Sound commercial acumen
Knowledge of and competence in OHS legislation principles and practices
Proven ability to forecast project schedules and determine variations
Competent in conflict and crisis management
