Job Summary
Job Title: CDL Driver

Job Summary
The Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating company vehicles (tractor and trailer) to complete daily deliveries and pickups. This role requires strict adherence to DOT regulations company policies and safety standards while maintaining a professional and positive attitude with customers vendors and internal team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Complete all scheduled deliveries and pickups by the end of each workday
Operate company vehicles safely in compliance with all traffic laws and DOT regulations
Work in various weather conditions as required
Maintain a professional courteous and positive attitude with customers vendors and coworkers
Follow all company policies procedures and safety guidelines
General Duties
Ensure all materials are properly loaded balanced and secured prior to transport
Verify loads before leaving company warehouses and vendor locations
Secure all loads according to safety standards
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
Maintain cleanliness and safe operating condition of assigned vehicle
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
Ability to meet all state and federal CDL requirements including medical examination and driver testing
Ability to lift and move 5075 lbs as required
Strong knowledge of the Houston metropolitan area
Commitment to safety reliability and punctuality
