Datatonic Academy is our Authorised Training Partner arm of the business upskilling individuals in Data and AI to help them turbo-charge their careers with Google Cloud. With courses covering Generative AI Machine Learning Data Engineering DevOps Analytics and much more the Academy offers specialist training to help enterprise businesses achieve tangible impact with Data and AI.

We are growing our world-class training team and seeking Authorised Google Cloud Trainers who want to join our mission.

The Role

As part of the team you will deliver training sessions for students at different levels and across a number of subject areas and disciplines both virtually and in-person.

You will work closely with the Lead Trainers to advise and support on content development for courses bringing initiative and a constant awareness of recent developments in Cloud technology and related tools and frameworks. This includes liaising with other internal teams e.g. Account Management and customising courses to suit our clients specific needs.

Reporting directly to one of the Lead Trainers this role will be critical in supporting and nurturing our continued business growth - it offers the opportunity to have a real impact on the trajectory of the Academy. For that reason this is not a passenger role. Proactivity opinions and ideas are essential and encouraged - we have a team that is passionate about helping people turbo-charge their career in tech and excited to make it happen.

Responsibilities

Delivering training sessions both virtually and in-person to groups of students
Creating training materials for students at multiple levels and across multiple subject areas
Providing one-on-one coaching and support to students in between sessions (e.g. Office hours)
Coordinating with other teams (especially Account Management) and clients to customise course content
Occasionally aiding Sales teams in scoping calls to identify customer requirements for training

Requirements

Google Cloud Authorised Trainer certification
UK based and willing to travel for in-person deliveries (variable but around 30-40% of deliveries are in-person mostly UK based but some international travel)
2 years experience working as a trainer or teacher delivering B2B training to technical and business audiences
Active Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer and/or Professional Data Engineer certification
Experience delivering group training sessions (virtual and/or in-person)
A detailed awareness of modern cloud-native infrastructure principles
Exceptional communication and presentation skills - written and verbal
A personable approach and adaptable communication style
Incredible attention to detail and a passion for presenting information in the most effective way
A logical methodical but flexible mindset
Passion for Google Cloud technologies and DataAI in general
Commitment to delivering value to students and clients

If you are an experienced authorised AWS or Azure trainer interested in transitioning to the Google Cloud ecosystem please still apply. We will be happy to discuss with you and are open to applications from all who fulfil most of the above requirements even if youre not yet Google Cloud certified.
