Job Summary
Location: Geraldton
Roster & Shift Hours: 7 days on 7 nights on 7 days off - 12-hour shifts
Hourly Rate: $63.71 Super Bonuses
Type: Permanent
About the role
Based at our brand-new purpose-built workshop in Geraldton and reporting to the Workshop Manager this role is responsible for the inspection maintenance repair and replacement of tyres on our heavy vehicle fleet helping keep our operations safe and running efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting tyres to identify damage or wear and determining repair or replacement needs
- Carrying out tyre repairs and replacements using appropriate tools and equipment
- Diagnosing tyre-related issues safely and efficiently
- Responding to work orders and repair requests from drivers and the workshop
- Reporting faults or new issues to the Workshop Manager in a timely manner
- Completing required paperwork and system updates accurately
- Supporting training and learning within the workshop as required
- Working in line with company policies and safety requirements at all times
Qualifications :
- Cert II in Tyre Fitting and Trade Assistant background with demonstrated tyre fitting experience
- Current valid C class drivers licence
- Strong safety focus
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work both day and nights 12-hour shifts
