Storeperson

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Companys only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine with over 800 employees that support the mine.

Seeking a suitably qualified experienced and reliable Storeperson who will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the commercial operations in alignment with the following OGC strategies objectives that demonstrates and positively recognized social responsibilities with communities. Established positive government relations that enable company activities. Maximize the value from our mineral resources plant and equipment. Value enhancement through cost management and continuous improvement processes and effective common OceanaGold framework. The role will report to the Supervisor- Warehouse.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Performs proper checking sorting labelling binning and issuance of goods and materials;
• Addresses simple warehouse issues and concerns with urgency to ensure the attainment of agreed operations goals;
• Demonstrates problem solving of simple to moderately complex challenges/issues relative to warehouse operations;
• Prompt reporting of any warehouse related issues and/or concerns to immediate superiors for quick rectification;
• Performs regular stocktaking of inventory stock items;
• Regular review and updating of picking slips stock item returns and delivered purchase orders;
• Demonstrates diligence in the acceptance of goods/materials in unloading materials; 
• Regular checking of lifting equipment to ensure safe operation;
• Maintaining floors free of slip and trip hazards by eliminating protruded stock items in its bin location;
• Regular cleaning and disposing of al rubbish materials and regular sweeping inside the warehouse to avoid dust accumulation;
• Listen attentively to end-user inquiries and ask clarifying questions as needed;
• Demonstrates patience and empathy when addressing end- user complaints or issues;
• Offer appropriate solutions or alternatives to meet end-user needs.

Qualifications :

• Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Corp. Values and the OceanaGold Way;
• At least High School graduate;
• At least one (1) year experience in warehouse duties;
• With a valid Professional Drivers License;
• With either Mechanical or Electrical trade is an advantage;
• With National Certificate in Forklift/Telehandler is an advantage;
• Knowledge in Pronto is an advantage;
• With good Microsoft Office skills (Excel Word Outlook).
