Were seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Planning team in our Newcastle Upon Tyne office. This hybrid role both within Paraplanning and Associate Financial Planning and is ideally suited to someone who wants to continue progressing down the advisory route while developing deeper technical knowledge and expertise.
Our team provides comprehensive support to Financial Planners and Partners by ensuring timely accurate completion of tasks throughout the advice this role you will not hold your own client bank but will work closely with Partners to deliver highquality client outcomes. Responsibilities span technical research preparation of advice and maintaining accurate records while also supporting client interactions and meetings where required.
Key Responsibilities
As a Paraplanner / Associate Financial Planner your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering client information and documentation to support advice preparation and conducting technical research across a wide range of financial products and solutions.
- Collaborating with Financial Planners to ensure clients receive the right advice to achieve their objectives while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Preparing suitability reports and supporting documentation for Financial Planners.
- Ensuring all advice-related tasks are completed accurately and uploaded to internal systems.
- Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date client records in line with FCA and company standards.
- Supporting Financial Planners in client meetings including cashflow modelling and note-taking where required.
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Skills
To be successful in this role you should:
- Hold a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning with a desire to develop further and work towards Chartered status.
- Have strong technical knowledge of financial planning processes and products.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Have strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Maintain a professional approach and lead by example.
