Job Summary

Job title: Azure Administrator

Work Location: Bangalore

Shift timings: 8.00am to 5.00pm or 12.00pm to 9.00pm

Work model: Hybrid model 3days office in a week

Experience: 2-4 years

Azure & Web Systems Administrator

In this administrator position you will support the technical needs of internal and external customers to create and maintain solutions on premises or in the cloud meeting performance expectations and security requirements. All activities and tasks will be conducted with the utmost respect professionalism and courtesy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Azure application registrations and secrets management
Azure Virtual Machine installation and configuration
Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline infrastructure familiarity
Microsoft IIS infrastructure configurations & web infrastructure
Experience with Microsoft PKI and certificate management
Expert with PowerShell scripting
Active Directory / Entra ID / Azure AD / Identity experience in relation to a hybrid environment
Configuration and/or installation of servers and software in a hybrid environment
Monitoring and management of servers and performance
Monitor and respond to service related alarms
Cross functional coordination with server storage workstation network and application areas with emphasis on security compliance

Management reporting

Creation and maintenance of system documentation
Creation and maintenance of processes and procedures
Performs related duties as assigned or requested

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge skill or ability required:
Strong English written and verbal communication skills to be able to present to a target audience
Must be able to work flexible hours including hours beyond the normal schedule when necessary; we operate in a 24x7x365 environment
Strong troubleshooting skills of very complex systems
Excellent problem-solving skills in resolving issues with complex systems
Good presentation skills. Able to communicate technical information to users in a non-technical manner

Education/Experience (BMQ):

BA/BS degree with 2 years experience and/or an Associate degree with 3 or more years experience is preferred.
Degree equivalency: 5 years working experience in an enterprise IT environment in a hybrid Azure-specific position.

Additional Preferences:

Experience with products like Terraform
Experience with antivirus and security tools
Experience with monitoring software like SolarWinds Nagios QRadar SNOW etc.
Experience with web application load balancers such as Citrix NetScaler

Certificates and/or Licenses (BMQ):

Azure Certifications CompTIA Server CompTIA Security

Ability and/or Skills (BMQ):

Ability to multitask
Maintain productivity in fast-paced environments
Ability to consistently follow company standard operating procedures and key guidance documents.
Work with minimal supervision
Possess a strong curiosity and enjoy learning about technology in general.

Qualifications :
