About the role
Reporting to the Compliance Manager in this safety-focused role youll lead driver training and compliance across WA. This includes delivering training conducting assessments managing documentation and building strong relationships with internal logistics managers and drivers. Your focus is on improving skills promoting safe practices and ensuring consistent standards to support operational excellence.
What you will do:
Conduct driver assessments and identify training needs
Develop and deliver training programs to Visy standards
Record all training and assessments in the Learning Management System
Manage training schedules including refresher sessions
Continuously assess driver skills and CoR awareness
Promote safe practices for vehicles equipment and work systems
Support incident investigations with the operations team
Collaborate with Logistics Management Fleet Controllers Compliance and Recruitment
Complete administrative tasks such as data entry compliance reporting and maintaining system accuracy
What you will bring:
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment plus TLIF0005 & TLIF0006 (Fatigue Management)
Current MC Heavy Vehicle Licence with extensive driving experience
Strong knowledge of road rules HVNL and Chain of Responsibility
Solid understanding of OH&S legislation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Calm patient approach and ability to work under pressure
