Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 5 Pharmacy Technician (ACT) to join a busy NHS hospital pharmacy service in the West Midlands. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to highquality dispensary services within a fastpaced and supportive environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and accurate supply of medicines supporting clinical teams and delivering patientcentred care. Candidates with MTT experience are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe efficient and accurate dispensary services including accuracy checking.
Support medicines management services where required (preferred).
Provide highquality medicines information and support to patients and healthcare professionals.
Work collaboratively with pharmacists technicians and wider MDT colleagues.
Ensure compliance with legal professional and organisational standards.
Participate in audits service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold robust governance practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
ACT qualification/certificate (essential).
Previous NHS hospital experience (essential).
hospital wards experience (preferred but not essential).
Strong communication organisational and teamwork skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment with excellent attention to detail.
A proactive patientfocused and professional approach.
