About the role:
This role is designed for a senior marketer who is excited about working at the forefront of oncology innovation. The Senior Marketing Manager will shape and drive the marketing strategy for a Lung and Thoracic Cancer portfolio that includes both established brands and highly innovative launch assets including biomarker-driven therapies and next-generation platforms such as AntibodyDrug Conjugates (ADCs).
The role goes beyond traditional brand management. It requires curiosity for science a strong interest in precision medicine and the ambition to developnew marketingapproaches for complex data-driven therapies. The Senior Marketing Manager will play a key role in preparing and executing launch strategies for innovative treatments translating complex scientific and biomarker concepts into clear compelling value propositions for healthcare professionals.
With full accountability for brand strategy revenue contribution and marketing investment this position combines commercial responsibility with the opportunity to actively shape how innovative oncology therapies are introduced to the market. The roleoperatesin close collaboration with cross-functional country teams as well as EMEA and Global stakeholders and is ideal for someone who is motivated to challenge the status quo and help define the future of oncology.
Lead the strategic and operational marketing management of Lung and Thoracic Cancer products including innovative launch therapies and established brands
Develop and execute launch strategies for biomarker-driven and precision oncology therapies
Translate complex scientific clinical and biomarker data into differentiated and customer-relevant marketing strategies
Own brand performance revenue contribution and marketing budget planning and tracking
Drive launch excellence across all phases from early preparation and cross-functional readiness to post-launch optimization
Design and deliver integrated omnichannel strategies tailored to specialist oncology audiences
Actively explore and implement innovative marketing approaches including data-driven insights AI-enabled tools and new engagement models for HCPs
Develop high-quality medical education and disease awareness initiatives in close partnership with Medical Affairs
Work closely with Sales Medical Market Access Digital Analytics and other key functions to ensure strategic alignment and flawless execution
Collaboratewith EMEA and Global teams on strategy alignment localization of global frameworks and feedback of local insights
Monitor performance through KPIs and analytics continuouslyoptimizingstrategy and execution
University degree(e.g.life sciences medicine pharmacy business marketing or a related field)
Academic background is flexible; scientific curiosity and the ability to understand complex therapies are key
Professional Experience
Several years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing
Experience with launches of innovative or complex therapies is highly valued
Oncology experience is an advantage but not a strict requirement
Experience working in cross-functional matrix organizations with regional and global interfaces
Skills Mindset & Capabilities
Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex scientific content without losing depth
Genuine interest in innovative therapies
Open curious and forward-looking mindset with the ambition to explore new ways of working and challenge traditional marketing approaches
