Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruction:Teach grades 6-8 students in Religionintegrating faith and Christian morals into the curriculum.
- Faith Formation:Incorporate Catholic teachings into daily lessons and classroom activities guiding students in prayer and developing their relationship with Christ.
- Classroom Management:Create a positive inclusive and respectful classroom environment maintaining discipline and fostering a love for learning.
- Collaboration:Work closely with other teachers staff and school leadership to implement school-wide initiatives and support students academic and spiritual development.
- Parental Involvement:Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress concerns and achievements fostering a strong partnership between home and school.
- Professional Growth:Participate in ongoing professional development staying current with educational trends best practices and Catholic education principles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Elementary Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Teaching certification (preferred) or a willingness to pursue certification.
- Strong commitment to Catholic education
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferably in a Catholic school setting.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
