Job Summary

We are working closely alongside with a local authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of a Learning and Achievement Project Manager on a 2.5-months contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 25.26- 33.73 per hour

Summary:

As the Learning and Achievement Project Manager you will lead the delivery of strategic education initiatives with a primary focus on transitioning schools payroll systems. Working within a dynamic environment you will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed on time within budget and in alignment with the specific needs of schools.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish consistent governance standards including documenting project deliverables plans resources and benefits
  • Draft and maintain essential project records such as project briefs business cases scoping documents and highlight reports.
  • Act as a central point of contact for project queries ensuring clear communication for those impacted by the programme
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure the timely delivery of outputs
  • Monitor revenue budgets related to change management and model the impact of change decisions.
  • Provide programme support for Capital budgets related to the decommissioning of school sites.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold or have the ability to gain a recognised project management qualification.
  • Must demonstrate an awareness and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.

Essentials:

  • Proven experience in managing and delivering projects within the public sector.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leads and build positive working relationships within a local authority or public sector setting.
  • Strong reasoning skills with the ability to interpret complex data to support evidence-based decision-making

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires a Basic DBS
