The Opportunity

Reporting to the Domestic Tax Senior Manager youll join Adobes collaborative and innovative tax team and play a critical role in domestic tax compliance research planning and process improvement initiatives.

What youll Do

• Manage the in-house preparation and perform detailed review of federal state and local corporate income tax returns business tax filings extensions quarterly estimates and supporting workpapers including preparing complex modeling workpapers to support tax positions and forecasts.
• Manage tax audits and responses to inquiries from tax authorities including maintaining appropriate tax records to ensure audit readiness
• Monitor and analyze changes in federal state and local tax law to ensure compliance with current laws and identify potential opportunities
• Actively partner and collaborate with others within the tax organization and on cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
• Mentor and coach team members providing technical training and guidance
• Lead research tax planning projects and other ad hoc initiatives
• Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy

What you need to succeed

• Minimum 7 years of corporate income tax experience at a public accounting firm and/or public multinational company ideally including exposure to ASC740 provision work.
• Deep expertise in federal state and local corporate income taxation with desire to continue learning
• Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and concisely to tax and non-tax professionals
• High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a collaborative and team-building approach
• Exceptional multitasker with initiative upbeat demeanor and ability to stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word; SAP and/or OneSource experience is a plus

At Adobe for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base commission) and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
