Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Support Workers to join our team and provide exceptional care to our clients in Supported Independent Living (SIL) setting.

What you will do

Providing personalized support to clients in accordance with their individual support plans
Active nights and Sleep Over shifts Weekdays and Weekends
Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care meal preparation and medication management
Support the team in facilitating community participation and social activities
Supporting clients in developing life skills and promoting independence
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation

What you will bring

Hold minimum Certificate 3 in Individual Support or Above
A passion for safeguarding human rights and a deep personal connection to working in a purpose-driven organisation.
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check and a C class drivers license along with an up-to-date COVID vaccination certificate or a medical exemption.
A Current First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate ( willingness to Obtain if not held or expired)
Passport Birth or Citizenship Certificate to validate Australian Work Rights
Willingness to complete a National & International Police Check (Paid by Afford)
Ability to Complete Pre-Employment Medical/Functional Assessment (Paid by Afford)
