Job Summary

MOR PPM Inc is looking for a Site Manager in Bennettsville SC. This position will be responsible for front line supervision and the daily leadership of safety planning scheduling and work execution. This position is at a long-term customer that is in the Paper Mill industry. The on-site PPM team headcount can range from 60-100 employees with that dependent on Special Project or Outage work being performed. This position will be the direct contact with customer and client communication.

This position does not have relocation assistance; local candidates are preferred. Experience with managing up to 50 employees is also preferred

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the Day-to-Day activities being performed by team members with from Craft Supervisors and Leads.
  • Assure that all employees are properly trained to perform tasks associated with the duties of their job.
  • Maintain training records of employees on-site and share with additional departments.
  • Manage and control company owned vehicle services drivers assignments and ensure compliance with any company policies.
  • Maintain required manpower needs by recruiting selecting and hiring employees and assisting in on-site drug testing.
  • Delegating to teams to ensure quality and customer service standards.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops to include required EMCOR training.
  • Complete daily field inspections for safety quality of work and process/procedure compliance.
  • Lead weekly safety meetings.
  • Assist administrative personnel with weekly time reporting and invoicing to ensure all are completed and comply with company policy and monthly financial reporting to customer is completed and accurate.
  • Communicate PPE requirements and enforce safety guidelines.
  • Communicate regularly with Customers PPM Management Craft Supervisors and employees.

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years mechanical electrical or construction experience in an industrial production plant environment is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of managing teams team leaders and supervisors required. Experience Managing at least 50 employees is preferred.
  • Maintenance planning and scheduling experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook Excel Word Teams Project and OneDrive etc.)

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
  • May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
  • Must have full range of motion consistent with age
  • Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
  • Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees alarms and other job-related noises
  • Visual acuity depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
  • Must have valid drivers license and be able to operate company vehicles as needed.
