The Role
You will teach Art across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and departmental needs. The role focuses on delivering inspiring well-structured lessons that develop technical skill creativity and independent artistic thinking.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Art lessons aligned with the curriculum
Teaching a wide range of techniques including drawing painting printmaking mixed media and design processes
Assessing and moderating coursework in line with examination board requirements
Encouraging experimentation originality and reflective practice
Maintaining high standards of behaviour presentation and studio safety
Contributing to displays exhibitions and enrichment opportunities
