Job Summary
A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Leicestershire is seeking a dedicated Teacher of French to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from January 2026.
Languages are an important part of the schools curriculum and French is taught across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to contribute to post-16 provision depending on experience. The department is known for its supportive culture and commitment to inclusive language teaching.
The Role
You will teach French across KS3KS4 delivering lessons that build confidence in speaking listening reading and writing. The curriculum is carefully sequenced with shared resources that support consistency while allowing teachers to bring creativity to their lessons.
You will:
Deliver engaging communicative language lessons
Support GCSE students with exam preparation
Contribute to enrichment such as language clubs or cultural events
Work collaboratively within a supportive MFL team
