Tasks
As a Founders Associate (Business Development) you will play an essential role in shaping Niatsus growth and impact. You will actively contribute to sales outreach client engagement and general business development support. This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic startup environment and collaborate closely with the founders.
Main Tasks:
- Research and identify potential leads including sourcing contact information and defining and executing B2B outbound campaigns.
- Build relationships with prospective clients using effective outreach strategies.
- Actively support outbound business development including cold calling and email outreach to companies in Germany and Switzerland.
- Support marketing and founders with external communication content (e.g. LinkedIn posts presentations one-pagers) and be able to write blogs about sustainability technology and changing regulations.
- Help translate complex topics into clear messages for customers partners and event audiences.
- Prepare materials for sales and founders in other matters.
- Ensure alignment between business development activities and marketing communication.
Side Tasks:
- Help to organize events in the space of food & sustainability
- Participation in conferences and events in the space of food sustainability and technology.
- Support the founders in their daily tasks
Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Founders Associate who wants to support the growth of Niatsu. You should not take no for an answer be good with people and have a natural flair for selling. If you are committed to sustainability and want to make a positive impact on the environment while also having an entrepreneurial mindset you are a great fit.
Must Have:
- Fluency in German and English
- Must be legally eligible to work in Switzerland
- Passion for sustainability climate action and food systems.
- Background in business economics sustainability or a related field
- Strong interpersonal skills: you empathize listen and naturally connect with people.
- Interest in the latest trends and advancements in sustainability (e.g. IPCC reports).
Nice to have:
- Network of people in the Swiss and European sustainability and food industry.
- Familiarity with climate change frameworks (e.g. Net Zero SBTi climate neutrality GHG Protocol).
